October is #MenopauseAwarenessMonth — here’s what’s to come
You asked and we listened. When we reached out to our community about what you most wanted us to talk about, the answer was loud and clear: menopause.
In a recent poll on our SAIRANs Instagram community we reached to find out what you most wanted us to talk about.
So this October, in honour of #MenopauseAwarenessMonth, we’re shining a light on it all – perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. The symptoms. The solutions. The stories. We’re not afraid to shout about it, because the reality is this: half the population will go through it, and yet it’s still something we whisper about. That ends here.
What We’ll Be Sharing This Month:
Throughout the month of October across our social media platforms, newsletters and blogs we’ll be informing, empowering and answering your questions about the “midlife changes” that so many of us will experience and are experiencing.
We’ll take a deep dive in to:
✨ The skin changes that come with fluctuating hormones – from dryness and sensitivity to itchy skin, dullness, and loss of firmness.
✨ The rituals and ingredients that really help you to slow down, focus and and support your skin at every stage of the menopause journey.
✨ Expert voices. Saira will be speaking to specialists in menopause health and skincare to share practical, honest advice and importantly put your questions to them so you get the answers you are looking for.
Because this isn’t just about looking good. It’s about caring for yourself in the middle of a huge period of change and stress – all whilst juggling everything else life throws at you! Reminder: you’re doing an amazing job.

Join the Conversation
This month isn’t just about us talking at you – it’s about all of us talking together – so head on over to our Instagram page to be a part of our conversation. Menopause doesn’t need to be hidden, dreaded, or suffered in silence. At SAIRA we want you to feel seen and truly cared for.
So stay tuned: we’ll be sharing blogs, tips, expert conversations, and most importantly – real rituals to help you carve out time for yourself. A big part of menopause is to stay connected with yourself, feelings and emotions and listen to your body which is going through a change. Our founder Saira says:
“Menopause has been a journey I never quite felt prepared for. From the subtle shifts of perimenopause to the full force of menopause and now into post-menopause, it’s been a lesson in listening to my body, my skin, my energy, my hormones. Everything changed. And honestly? It wasn’t easy. There were so many moments I felt completely at a loss, exhausted, foggy, reactive, unsure what my body was asking for. What worked in my 30s just stopped working. And as a working mum, running a home, caring for ageing parents, and trying to live a full life, the stress was real.
But slowly, with patience (and a lot of trial and error), I started to tune in. My body needed more, more sleep, more hydration, more nourishment, more space to breathe. It wasn’t about giving up, it was about adapting. Menopause isn’t the end of vitality, it's a shift. And when you move with it, rather than fight it, you find a new rhythm. One that still holds energy, radiance, and joy. You just have to be willing to change, to listen, and to honour what your body is asking for now.”
