Hyperpigmentation – FAQ

Do you have Pigmentation?
In this Live Dr Sabika Karim from Skin Medical Clinics talks everything from hyperpigmentation, freckles sunspots scars, what causes them and the different treatments out there to improve the appearance of your skin.

A common cause of hyperpigmentation is an excess production of melanin. Melanin is a pigment that gives skin its color

Darkened areas on the skin are the main symptoms of hyperpigmentation. Patches can vary in size and develop anywhere on the body.

The biggest risk factors for general hyperpigmentation are sun exposure and inflammation, as both situations can increase melanin production. The greater your exposure to the sun, the greater your risk of increased skin pigmentation.

A Father’s Day Facial

Steve my husband has been down due to no sport being on the telly. So I thought’s I’d treat him to a lovely SairaSkin Facial. Here I show how to exfoliate a beard and then hydrate with a face oil for soft, brighter, younger looking skin.
Steve has dry skin so these products are great as they give the skin the oil it needs to look healthy.
